Strengthening the places where leaders are built. Hometown football programs run on limited resources, but their impact reaches far beyond the field.
CONNECTION ONE: THE HOMETOWN COACHES NETWORK
Hometown coaches do far more than design plays. They set standards, teach responsibility, and stay with young people when the work gets hard, usually with little staff and less money.
We are building a directory and network for six-, eight-, and nine-player football programs. Coaches will be able to find practical training and resources, hear about grants and equipment support, and connect with coaches facing the same problems. We have already held three coaches clinics, and the network will build on that work.
We are also building a way for partners to support programs through the people who know them best: their coaches.
CONNECTION TWO: MATCHED FUNDRAISING
Equipment, camps, travel, and participation costs add up, and teams already raise money to meet them. We want that work to go further.
Here is the model we are building. A team sets a goal for a real need. Players ask family, local businesses, and alumni to help. With funding from partners, the Foundation will match what the team raises. Teams that meet academic and community service standards will be eligible for a larger match.
The players take responsibility for their program. The community's support goes further. Standards off the field count too. Real rewards for real responsibility.

WHERE WE ARE TODAY
We are building the directory, partnerships, fundraising tools, and safeguards these programs need. Our first matched fundraising pilot will begin in Colorado, with Texas next. What we learn there will guide expansion to the other 24 states.
Grants, scholarships, and matching funds will launch as funding and program systems are in place. Project 25 is the first step.
