Our Programs
Strengthening the Places Where Leaders Are Built
Small-town football programs operate with limited resources, but their impact reaches far beyond the field.
Nearly 2,000 Programs. One Shared Challenge.
Across 26 states, 1,929 high schools sponsor six-, eight-, or nine-player football. These small-town programs often operate with limited resources while carrying an enormous responsibility to their players and communities. Our programs are being developed to protect players, support coaches, reward students, and strengthen these important places where leaders are built.
The All-State Foundation is building a national support system focused on protecting players, supporting coaches, rewarding academic excellence, and strengthening the programs that help young people become responsible leaders.
Our national programs are being developed around four priorities.
Player
Safety

Safer Equipment for Small-Town Players
Quality football equipment is expensive, and small-town programs often have fewer resources available to replace aging helmets and other essential safety equipment.
The Foundation is developing a grant program to help qualifying small-town football programs purchase safer helmets and essential player equipment.
Our long-term goal is straightforward: help more young athletes compete with equipment their families, coaches, and communities can trust.

Rewarding Students Who Lead in the Classroom
Football teaches preparation, discipline, and accountability. Those same standards should be recognized when student-athletes demonstrate them in the classroom.
The Foundation is developing academic scholarships for small-town football players who combine strong academic achievement with leadership, character, and service to others.
We want to recognize students who understand that being a leader means doing the work whether anyone is watching or not.

Supporting the People Who Support the Players
Small-town coaches do much more than design plays and prepare teams for Friday night.
They teach standards, provide stability, build confidence, and help young people respond to adversity. Many do this work with limited budgets, small staffs, and few professional resources.
The Foundation is developing education, training, and practical support to help small-town coaches strengthen their programs and continue serving their players and communities.

Helping Small-Town Programs Do More With Less
A small amount of support can make a meaningful difference to a small-town football program.
The Foundation is developing grants for qualifying programs that need assistance with equipment, training resources, player development, and other needs that strengthen the program’s ability to serve young people.
These grants will focus on practical needs and measurable results.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
The All-State Foundation is currently building the funding, partnerships, application procedures, and accountability systems required to launch these programs responsibly.
Grant and scholarship availability will be announced as funding becomes available.
Project 25 is the first step in building that foundation.
